I have been working as a Counsellor for over 14 years in various fields.  Together, we will work in a client-centred way.  This means that I will listen carefully with empathy and respect to understand what is happening for you at this time. It is important that you can trust me and that your experience is a safe one.  This will enable us to clarify how you see yourself and what changes you want for your life.  My role will be to support you in making these changes in a caring and supportive environment.

My life experiences include being married for over 30 years, raising two children, and living with a chronic illness.  My work experiences include working for a large global corporation in various roles, studying two degrees and a diploma, and working in various counselling organisations, such as: The Wellington People's Centre, Post and Ante-natal Distress Group, Vibe (youth health service), Te Mahoe Unit and in private practice.
